Pink Elephant winner Outstanding and Innovative Global Trainer Award
May 24, 2017. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Pink Elephant was presented with the Outstanding and Innovative Global Trainer Award yesterday night during the Awards Ceremony of the Malaysia-Canada Business Council (MCBC). The awards are presented to a handful of the most distinguished corporations and individuals in their respective industries are being recognised for their contribution to International Trade.
The Awards were presented during a gala dinner in the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With more than 300 guests in attendance, Pink Elephant was presented with the award by Her Excellency, Ms. Judith St George, High Commissioner of Canada to Malaysia and Y.B. Datuk Chua Tee Yong, Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia. The award was received by Jan-Willem Middelburg, Regional Director of Pink Elephant in Asia. He commented, “We are extremely honoured to have been selected by MCBC to receive this prestigious global trainer award. It is a great recognition for the entire team that has worked very hard to make our business in Asia grow. The fact that we have our most important clients present tonight, makes this evening all the more special.”
The Awards Dinner marked the 25th Anniversary of the Business Excellence Awards of the MCBC.The Malaysia Canada Business Council is a private non-profit organization established in Kuala Lumpur in 1989 to foster and enhance relationships between Canada and Malaysia. Their members are representatives from Canadian companies operating in Malaysia and Malaysian companies with ties to, or interests in Canada. Some of our high-profile members include Petronas, Scotiabank, Bombardier, SNC Lavalin, Manulife, as well as the Canadian High Commission in Malaysia.
